Today John and I took Angel and Coco for a long walk around our property. We have special leads that we put on their heads that helps to control them and keep them from running off to eat what they should not eat (flowers, trees, etc.). We took them to the neighbor's fence line to say hello to the horses and donkey. A couple of times Angel started acting out, so John had to straddle her and make her calm down. Coco was very docile today, so I was pleased. When we got back to the pen, we sat down on the little chairs we have out there and they chilled with us while we scratched their shoulders and necks. We all got very relaxed, and we were so pleased that the weather was nice and comfortable. We also collected another egg from the chicken coop. We think we finally got an egg from Sable, which has sort of tiny white spots on it. We shall see if there comes another one like it, then we will know which chicken laid which egg. That will be cool. We did not receive any Christmas cards in the mail today, which was very disappointing. But at 42 cents for a stamp, it is not surprising given the economic downturn.
